Community Action Against Addiction is seeking to hire full-time and part-time or contract with physicians with an addiction medicine certification who are interested in providing Medication Assisted Treatment services to clients with a substance use disorder. CAAA offers flexible hours & competitive salary.
Physicians must have the following:
A current Ohio Medical Board license with a subspecialty in addiction medicine from the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) or certified by the American Board of Addiction Medicine (ABAM)
Current U.S. drug enforcement administration (DEA) registration for prescribing schedule I, II & III controlled substances
Must not have had license or certification denied or revoked at any time.
Be knowledgeable about methadone, buprenorphine and vivitrol
Have excellent communication skills
Be computer savvy and able to operate EMR systems (will receive training on current system)

Community Action Against Addiction is a private non-profit organization that has provided medication assisted treatment (MAT) to individuals suffering with a substance abuse disorder residing in the Greater Cleveland and surrounding areas since 1971. CAAA is one of two methadone clinics within Cuyahoga County. CAAA is located near downtown Cleveland on Euclid Avenue.
