We are seeking a ninth neonatologist to join our progressive, growing neonatal practice at Mercy Children's Hospital in St. Louis. MO.
We have a team approach towards care in this 90-bed, Level-III NICU
Average daily census of 80, with 1,400 admissions and more than 8,500 deliveries annually
Neonatologists and NNPs provide 24-hour, in-house care
We provide a challenging clinical environment including conventional and high-frequency (both HFJV and HFOV) ventilation, nitric oxide and whole body cooling
Our team works in close collaboration with a full complement of pediatric sub-specialists including Pediatric Surgery in a suburban Children's Hospital environment
OB residents rotate through the NICU
We have been long time members of the Vermont-Oxford network and our VON team maintains continuous involvement in QI initiatives
We also provide neonatal services at a nearby Level-II NICU with NNPs in-house 24 hours and neonatologists taking call from home
