Witt/Kieffer has been engaged to assist BayCare Health System (Clearwater, Florida) in the recruitment of the Vice President of Physician Services of St. Joseph’s Women’s Hospital(SJWH) and St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital(SJCH) in Tampa, Florida. The VPPS of the two hospitals will provide visionary leadership and work collaboratively internally and externally to further develop the level of clinical excellence across both hospitals. The Vice President of Physician Services position, in collaboration with the executive leadership team, will continue to lead St. Joseph’s Women’s Hospital and St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital on the journey of clinical excellence and strategic market advancements. Building on a strong tradition and commitment in the community, she/he will drive forward the vision that St. Joseph’s has established as the preferred healthcare provider in the community and a key partner within the Tampa Bay market. In collaboration with the BayCare leadership, St. Joseph’s senior leaders and colleagues, the next VPPS will ensure that SJWH and SJCH continue to be recognized regionally for quality and exceptional patient care.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced physician leader. Experience in a Women’s and/or Children’s Hospital setting is ideal. She/he will be required to have their MD or DO and must have their medical license in the state of Florida or be eligible to receive their Florida license. The ability to work in a highly matrixed environment is a must.
