CFO: The CFO has responsibility for the identification, independent assessment and communication of financial risk, establishing and monitoring of mitigation plans. The CFO is responsible to ensure the delivery of performance by monitoring and managing financial forecasts and ensuring plans are in place to address performance gaps. In addition, the CFO is responsible for the monitoring of the revenue cycle process and, along with other revenue cycle stakeholders, the improvement of the revenue cycle process through rate setting, charge capture, managed care negotiations, and cash collections. Finally, the CFO is responsible for the evaluation and management of investments in capital projects to determine the financial impact and ROI and impact on cash flow
CFO candidates need to have a minimum of ten years of progressive financial healthcare services industry or equivalent experience in the areas of general accounting; operations, financial systems, financial statement preparation, review and analysis, multi-discipline management experience, and ethics. CFO also needs to have solid organization skills successfully manage all financial activities, resilience to working successfully under pressure and the ability to convert complex finance, operational, and compliance issues into terms and concepts that are easily disseminated throughout all levels of the organization. A Bachelor�s degree in Finance or Accounting is required. An MBA, MHA and/or CPA designation strongly preferred.
Controller: The Controller provides administrative direction and coordination of the finance function for hospital operations and oversees the overall budget process for the facility, as well as directs long-range strategic financial planning and all aspects of the Capital Management Cycle. In addition, the Controller is accountable for accounts receivable reserve and revenue recognition policies, coordinate capital allocation and forecasting process, oversee operating and capital budget process and consolidate Hospital Business Plan.
Controller candidates need to have a minimum of seven years of progressive healthcare services industry finance experience to include solid experience with AR/AP, fixed assets, property tax reporting, cost accounting, and auditing. It is also important that the candidate has an ability to prioritize work, demonstrated success in building value within an ethical manner and achieving financial expectations. Additionally, substantial financial management experience including financial operations, strategic and financial planning, contracts, reimbursement, budgeting and capital financing in a complex environment. A Bachelor�s degree in Finance or Accounting is required. An MBA, MHA and/or CPA designation preferred.
Compensation: A competitive compensation program will be tailored to the selected candidate. Base salary will be supplemented by a performance bonus and comprehensive, well-rounded benefits program, which includes relocation assistance.
