Full-Time, Monday through Friday | 4 Day 10-hour Shifts | Rotating Weekend Day Banner Health and the University of Arizona seek a team-focused Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our growing Trauma Acute Care Surgery/Burn Services division at Banner University Medical Center Tucson (BUMCT). BUMCT is the only accredited Level 1 Trauma Center serving the diverse Southern Arizona community with exceptional patient care and empathy. Our advanced providers are continually learning, adapting, and detail-oriented in managing our community's trauma and acute general surgery patients via a respectful and transparent setting. The ideal candidate enjoys learning and sustains the established processes in their clinical management of patients, performing therapeutic/diagnostic procedures, interpretation of diagnostic tests, prescription of medications, education, consultation, and research. Our division is committed to partnering with team members for leadership and career development opportunities. This position is also open to collaborative, highly motivated new grads with patient care or EMS experience that enjoy a fast-paced team environment. Minimum requirements include: - Current Board Certification, DEA license, and BLS certification
- TNCC or ATLS certification (preferred)
- New Grads with patient care/EMS experience are encouraged to apply
