The Department of Psychiatry at the University of Connecticut Health Center, located in Farmington, is recruiting for a tenure track position as Division Chief of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the rank of Associate Professor or Professor. An endowed professorship is available to support this position. We are searching for an experienced academician with a track record of independent grant support in child and adolescent mental health. The successful candidate will demonstrate active interest and ability to lead our growing clinical and research faculty within the Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and will contribute to the Research, Clinical and Education missions of the Department. MD and PhD candidates may apply. Clinical licensure is preferred. This is an exciting time to be at the University of Connecticut and in this Department of Psychiatry. The Department has undergone considerable transformation over the past seven years, retaining its considerable strength in Addictions while building expertise in Psychopharmacology, Child and Adolescent Trauma, Pediatric Anxiety, Psychiatric Genetics, and Geriatric Psychiatry. The Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry was established over 13 years ago and currently includes a substantial grant portfolio and a cadre of dedicated clinical child psychiatrists and psychologists, and it hosts a child and adolescent fellowship training program.
