Intensivist Position with Level 1 Trauma Center

We have an opening to join HSHS Medical Group and our growing team of intensivists at HSHS St. John’s Hospital, a Level 1 Trauma Center in Springfield, Illinois - 3 hours from Chicago.  HSHS Medical Group is part of a large, financially strong Hospital Sisters Health System where Physician Leadership is widespread and encouraged.

Highlights of the opportunity are as follows:

• Work in a Level 1 Trauma Center
• 12-hour in-house shift-based schedule
• 146 shifts per year for full time
• Opportunity for additional shifts paid at a premium rate
• 45 bed ICU with excellent sub-specialty support
• 4 Rounders + admitter w/ average census of 10-12 pts/day
