Registered Nurse (RN), Nurse Practitioner - Adults Palliative Care - Per-Diem/Days

Position Summary

Thisposition is responsible for assisting with the planning, development andprovision of service for a Palliative Care Program consistent with the Missionof Saddleback Medical Center. Professional services include, but are not limited to: biopsychosocialassessments, care consultation, quality/financial performance, MD/Patient/Staffand Community education. The Nurse Practitioner (NP) supports management inachieving a high-quality program which achieves both clinical outcomes andpatient/family service excellence, in an efficient and fiscally prudentmanner.  The NP is knowledgeable of thelatest clinical trends, regulatory requirements and reimbursement patterns forpatients on the Palliative Care service.
