The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Division of Adolescent Medicine in the Department of Pediatrics at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for several Assistant Professors positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Teaching responsibilities may include participation in the clinical education of medical students, residents and fellows as a member of the Craig-Dalsimer Division of Adolescent Medicine. Clinical responsibilities may include seeing patients in an inpatient and outpatient primary and specialty care setting in Adolescent Medicine at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). Multiple sites of practice are available including a primary care practice, specialty care satellite locations and inpatient units at CHOP, CHOP’s new satellite suburban hospital in King of Prussia, and a behavioral health hospital. Multiple opportunities for collaborative clinical research are available related to education, continuous quality improvement, health services, minority health and disparities, resiliency, STIs/HIV, pregnancy prevention, smoking, substance use, gender, eating disorders, obesity, depression and suicide. Leadership positions in these areas may also be available. Candidates with interests focused on clinical eating disorders are particularly encouraged to apply.

Applicants must have an M.D or M.D./Ph.D. degree. Board certified/eligible in Pediatrics or Internal Medicine is required, and Board certified/eligible in Adolescent Medicine is preferred.
