Design Content Strategist

Within Memorial Sloan Ketterings Digital Informatics and Technology Solutions (DigITs) department, were eager to recruit a hardworking, pragmatic content strategist toshape our digital product portfolio and help define the creative direction, development, and evolution of MSKs DigITS applications and platforms.

We are looking for a Design Content Strategist to help transform the way we connect with our users and guide the creation of carefully-considered related to products for various platforms.

Please note, this position is apart of MSK's reactivation plan and requires on site availability Wed/Thurs.

• Engage in design reviews and confidently communicate decision-making rationale to team members and partners at all levels of the organization
• Oversee the proper usage of voice and tone throughout design products
• Implement industry audits, customer surveys, and research to inform strategic thinking
• Develop scalable messaging systems geared towards various audiences and channels
• Analyze performance data and work cross functionally to understand measurable impact of strategy and content decisions.
• Work closely with design teams to guide creative development based on strategy goals, providing crucial feedback.
• Contribute project plans, briefs, and presentations that help to align the team and effectively execute on strategies and team goals.

• 6+ years of experience in writing content. Good awareness of UX and how content and design work together
• Experience working as a Design Content Strategist or other similar role in a digital product-focused environment
• Fundamental knowledge of the interplay between UX Design, Research, and UX Content
• Confident using quantitative and qualitative data to make informed decisions about the strategy and execution of product copy
• Can successfully work through ambiguity and challenging projects
• Understanding of information architecture and taxonomy principles
• Experience preparing source language for localization
• A portfolio of relevant work is required for consideration. It should illustrate your experience in the design process and solving user problems through content.
