Work Hours/Shift: Full Time Days
 
GENERAL SUMMARY:

To assist the Chief Financial Officer and Controller of the hospital in the analysis of costs, opportunity to improve financial controls, manage specific inventories, property management and contract management.


PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:


All essential functions must be performed. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with qualified disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  • Analysis of contracts, emphasis on opportunity savings
  • Assist Controller on analysis of cost issues
  • Coordinate/complete yearly budget process and monthly budget monitoring
  • Other reporting as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
  • Computer Literacy â“ Microsoft Office
  • Prior Hospital experience
  • Communication skills both verbal and written
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills
 
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS PREFERRED:
    • Cost Accounting Experience
    • Prior Management Experience
    • Knowledge of healthcare environment

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Bachelorâ™s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
 
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:
    • Master of Business Administration
