Work Hours/Shift: You Will Be Responsible For: The Program Manager - Research Services is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, reporting, and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals. She/He works directly with the Executive Director, Research Services, the senior leadership team of Research Services, AdventHealth Research Institute, AdventHealth Corporate, Institute Development Program Managers and external partners, when needed, to develop and define project tasks and resource requirements, monitor and report on project progress, assess results, and take action to meet deliverables within scope and budget. She/He actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all. Qualifications
What You Will Need: EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Legal Studies, HealthCare Administration, or a research related field
- Five years of work experience in research, contract management, or related environment in a leadership, project management or program coordination role.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED: - Master’s degree in Business, Legal Studies, HealthCare Administration, or a research related field
- Seven (7) years or more of experience in in successfully leading project teams
- Work history demonstrating progression of leadership, program and complexity in job duties and assignments.
- Knowledge of Research Services subject areas including compliance, regulatory, grants and contracts.
LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, OR REGISTRATION PREFERRED: - Achieved or actively pursuing Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED: - Ability to communicate effectively with senior executive research teams, research services and operations teams, and other stakeholders to analyze, plan, develop and implement assigned initiatives and to use discretion when discussing research/personnel/patient related issues that are confidential in nature
- Responsive to ever-changing matrix of AdventHealth Research Institute needs and acts accordingly.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS PREFERRED: - Knowledge in theoretical and practical aspects of project management and use of project management systems and change management ideologies including Agile.
Job Summary: - Develops and implements innovative project management strategies to maximize efforts to clarify, centralize, collaborate and disseminate information pertaining to the initiatives assigned in support of the Executive Director to further the goals and objectives of the AdventHealth Research Institute.
- Facilitates the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables. Defines project tasks and resource requirements. Implements projects with a strategic purpose, adhering to quality standards and procedures through the project lifecycle.
- Provides critical insights and recommendations for project success to leadership through assessed results and learnings, both positive and negative. Communicates with leader on effective strategies to move stalled or difficult projects and implements these strategies as appropriate.
- Serves as a liaison between senior leadership team, business users and implementation team communicating appropriately and effectively with co-workers, customers and supervisors in order to develop, coordinate, manage and monitor the workings of internal and interdepartmental projects lead by the AdventHealth Research Institute Research Services team. Maintains awareness of project status and any potential delay, situation or concern that may affect the outcome of the project.
- Effectively monitors and reports on progress of the project to all stakeholders, including project budget and resource allocation, timelines and project deliverables using appropriate tools. Understands metrics and reporting constructs to provide transparency and accurate timely information to stakeholders.
