Physician (Plastic/Hand Surgery)
The Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon is responsible for the medical and surgical needs of inpatient and outpatient veterans of the Orthopedic Surgery Section of Surgery Service. Provide routine, non-routine and emergency inpatient and outpatient care. Provide examination, diagnosis, and treatment by surgical and conservative means for diseases and injuries. Responsible for the evaluation, work-up and preparation of Veteran patients. The incumbent will follow established guidelines, ethics, and policies and protocols of the Department of Veterans Affairs. He/She functions as a cooperative and collegial team member with the entire staff.
