Research and Residency Position in Therapeutic Medical Physics
An opening is now available postdoctoral position working on a project entitled, Marker-less Tumor Tracking for Paraspinal and Lung SBRT Treatment. The ideal candidate should have strong physics or mathematical background and be proficient in certain programming language such as C/C++, Python, Tensorflow/PyTroch, or MATLAB. Knowledge in medical imaging or image processing is a plus. The research will focus on developing motion tracking algorithms that can be used in radiation therapy. The candidate will work closely with medical physicists and radiation oncologists in developing the methods applied to lung cancer treatment and paraspinal stereotactic body radiation therapy.
