The Birmingham VA Medical Center is currently recruiting for one part time Gastroenterology Physician to work 15 hours per week, 30 hours per pay period. The Birmingham VA Medical Center (VAMC) is seeking a board certified or board eligible gastroenterologist that will provide full spectrum gastroenterology coverage and care, with a focus on advanced and therapeutic endoscopy. He/she will perform advanced endoscopic procedures including both diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic ultrasound (EUS), including but not limited to endoscopic cyst gastrostomy placement and celiac plexus neurolysis, endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), and endoscopic mucosal resection (EMR)/endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD) for both foregut and colonic disease.
