San Mateo County Behavioral Health and Recovery Services (BHRS) is seeking an experienced individual to participate in all aspects of the leadership of the system of care for people with mental illness, alcohol and drug problems and co-occurring conditions. BHRS of San Mateo County, located next to San Francisco, operates or regulates all public sector mental health, substance abuse and behavioral health services in the County. In addition, BHRS operates one of the only community-based psychiatric residency programs in California through an affiliation with San Mateo Medical Center and the Medical Director will oversee this program including 1 supervising psychiatrist and 16 residents.
