Job Description
Adventist Health Sonora rural health clinic is in Sonora, California. Adventist Health Sonora is looking for a responsible Suboxone waivered physician to provide initial medical evaluations and follow-up evaluations for substance users who are seeking assistance with withdrawal from opiates, benzos, cocaine, and methamphetamines. The job is very rewarding. The ideal physician will be a qualified, professional, compassionate individual and knowledgeable in the area of substance use.
Job Qualifications:
Must be an MD or DO
Must have DEA X-waiver, preferably with 275 patients
Preferred 2 - 3 years experience
Job Responsibilities:
Ask intuitive questions to discover cause of illness.
Give appropriate advice for health habits and preventive actions to promote overall health.
Prescribe medications and provide comprehensive instructions for administration.
Oversee Advanced Practice Provider.
Keep records of patients, diseases, operations, and/or other significant information confidential.
Remain current on development and best practices in medicine.
