ChristianaCare is currently seeking an Advanced Practice Provider for a full time Inpatient/Outpatient position at ChristianaCare. The Advanced Practice Provider will work closely with our OB/GYN physicians and ancillary staff in both the hospital and clinic setting. ChristianaCare provides a range of medical services for women at all stages of life focusing on both physical and emotional wellbeing of our patients. The Advanced Practice Provider will provide primary gynecologic and obstetric care to women in the outpatient clinic, along with assisting physicians with deliveries and managing the care of women during labor and delivery within established protocols, guidelines, and procedures. The Advanced Practice Provider will spend an average of two days per week in their "home practice" but will float to other practices on the other days and as the need arises.
Requirements:
Master's degree as an Advance Practice Registered Nurse -NP or graduate from an ARC-PA accredited physician assistant program and have NCCPA certification
License or license eligible in the state of Delaware
Prescriptive authority required in Delaware
BLS Certification
Certification in Electronic Fetal Monitoring within one year of hire.
Three years' experience as a provider preferred
