The Chief, Medical Service is responsible for providing leadership in the Department of Medicine in support of delivery of Specialty and Acute Care services for the VA Louisville; and is accountable for ensuring quality and cost-effective care. The position has a strong administrative component; however clinical duties will be required to maintain proficiency.
