Atlantic Health System, one of New Jerseyas largest integrated health care systems, is seeking an experienced clinical leader to spearhead the Division of General Pediatrics at Goryeb Childrenas Hospital. This well-established, growth-oriented division has locations in Florham Park, Scotch Plains and Madison with plans for growth in Martinsville and Summit, NJ.
Responsibilities
The Division Chief of General Pediatrics will champion our vision where every child will receive the best possible care and experience to support healing, health, and an improved quality of life. This clinical leader will recruit and mentor faculty to maximize their career and job satisfaction, always encouraging teamwork, with the goal of consistently delivering clinical excellence.
The Division Chief will provide outpatient general pediatric care to patients at one or more Atlantic Medical Group practices and can gain long-term personal and professional satisfaction of serving our patients while training the next generation of health care providers. The Division Chief will have strong academic interests to teach medical students and residents. Responsibilities will also include close collaboration with departmental and health system leadership to advance our strategy and enhance and expand pediatric primary care throughout the system.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will have an outstanding clinical reputation in general pediatrics and a proven track record as a clinical leader with at least 5 yearsa experience in a leadership role. They will have some academic background with a focus on building a top reputation clinical program. Board certified in pediatrics as well as being committed to the practice of patient and family centered care will be essential for the successful candidate. Strong work ethic and desire to participate in a team-oriented, performance-driven group necessary.
