Overview
Atlantic Health System is seeking a Nurse Practitioner who is interested in working part time - 24 hours per week - 7pm to 7am - 2 shifts in our Neuroscience Enhanced Care department. Every third weekend and no on-call. This position is benefits eleigible!
Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions:
- Candidate will have the ability to utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate the plan of care for patients served. Through the model of Shared Governance, collaborate with all members of the health care team with a focus on promoting evidenced based care within a healing culture for the patient population served and their families.
- Candidate will demonstrate and embrace the PRIDE core values (Professionalism, Respect, Involvement, Dignity and Excellence) in every aspect of their job.
- Candidate must have excellent communication and computer skills.
Qualifications
Education:
- BSN required
- MSN required
- DNP preferred
Licenses and Certifications:
- NP License in NJ required
- ACLS required
- BLS required
- ANCC Acute Care Nurse Practitioner preferred
- CCRN or CNRN strongly preferred
Experience:
- 2+ years critical care experience in an APP role, specifically Nurse Practitioner strongly preferred
- Neuroscience Intensive Care experience, as an RN and/or APP preferred
