Practice Description

Fairview Health Services is seeking a Physician Assistant to join our M Health Fairview Urgent Care Team practicing primarily at our Mall of America Walk-In Clinic in Bloomington, MN providing wellness and occupational health care in addition to urgent health care. This position may also practice at our other urgent care locations in the Minneapolis-St Paul area and surrounding suburbs.

Practice Details:

Join our team of 45+ urgent care providers.
Patient encounters average 20-30 patients per day in a 10 hour shift.
Opening(s): .6 - .8 FTE - Flexible schedule, averaging every third weekend.
No Call required.
As a Pioneer Accountable Care Organization (ACO), our physicians use a multidisciplinary team approach in managing clinical care.
Fully integrated Electronic Medical Record (EPIC).

Qualifications

Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
BC/BE through NCCPA.
Licensed or ability to obtain a PA license with prescriptive authority through the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice.
Ability to obtain and/or maintain DEA certification for the State of Minnesota.
Meet threshold criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and Privileges (if required).

Preferred Qualifications:

At least 2 or more years Primary Care, ER, Urgent Care or Retail Care experience.

M Health Fairview Walk-in Clinic - Mall of America serves MOA employees and tenants, as well as Twin Cities visitors. The clinic is located on level 3 East and has 5 exam rooms, lab space and a radiology room.
