Loyola Medicine's Oncology Service Line is seeking a full-time Hematology/Oncology physician with a focus in Blood and Marrow Transplantation and Cellular Immunotherapy to join the Division of Hematology/Oncology located in Maywood, Illinois.
The Blood and Marrow Transplant Program at Loyola Medicine is fully accredited by the Foundation for the Accreditation of Cellular Therapy (FACT) and the National Marrow Donor Program (NMDP). Loyola Medicine is a leader in cellular therapy, and the most advanced CAR T research center in the Chicagoland area. The BMT program performs over 100 transplant per year and has a dedicated outpatient treatment and clinic area within the Cardinal Bernardin Cancer Center (CBCC) located in Maywood.
Responsibilities for this opportunity include inpatient and outpatient care, active participation in weekly tumor board, and multidisciplinary clinics.
Candidates must be fellowship trained and hold board certification. Qualified candidates should have excellent stem cell transplantation training and/or significant clinical experience in the field with a strong interest in clinic/translational research. The ideal candidate will have experience practicing in an academic medical center with academic productivity commensurate with current faculty rank.
