Position Summary:
The Assistant Vice President (AVP), Home Health and Hospice is accountable for strategic planning, oversight of program development, business planning, policy setting, budget planning, expense control and the coordination of the overall day-to-day clinical operations of MultiCare Home Health and Hospice Services. This position is responsible for the programs operating within and adhering to the applicable Medicare Conditions of Participation (CoPs), Washington State Administrative Codes (WAC), and Joint Commission accreditation standards. The position is expected to demonstrate professional behavior, independent judgment, leadership, and problem solving, decision-making, organization and prioritization skills.
Minimum Requirements:
Ten years experience and mastery of professional or technical role/function
Five or more years experience in Home Health and Hospice experience in a senior leadership role required
Education/Licenses/Certifications:
Masters Degree in Business, Health Administration or associated clinical degree Nursing, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy or Speech Pathology
