Mercy Clinic in St. Louis, Missouri, is seeking a BE/BC Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join a busy group on campus of Mercy Heart Hospital South. This well-established team is part of a larger regionalized program with the support of five surgeons and is powered at this location by one Cardiothoracic Surgeon and five highly skilled advanced practitioners.
Mercy Hospital South, a 767-bed hospital, has been a healing presence in the area for more than 140 years. It is the only Level II Trauma Center in South County with approximately 80,000 ED visits annually. Mercy Hospital South also has a 3-star designation by STS, and is 1 of only 30 Programs in the country to complete the Edwards Benchmark Program for TAVR
This well-integrated heart team offers leading-edge services with involvement from Cardiac Anesthesia, Interventional Cardiology, and Imaging Services. Mercy South was one of the first hospitals certified by the state of Missouri as a Level One STEMI Center and has received the Joint Commission's Gold Seal of Approval for Advanced Certification in Heart Failure.

- Large volume location with 350+ open heart cases and 100+ TAVR annually
