Indiana University Health Southern Indiana Physicians is seeking an Inpatient Psychiatrist to practice within our new hospital in beautiful Bloomington, IN!
This role has leadership potential based off experience.
Join a well-established, collegial and supportive practice surrounded by a great team of physicians, advanced providers, clinicians, therapists and nursing staff in a university community with a diverse cultural environment
Full-Time, 7 days on and 7 days off
Clinical only; 100% inpatient work
Call is 7 nights per month - shared among two physicians covering each week of the 7 on/7 off schedule
100% inpatient, mix of inpatient visits and consults on medical-ICU floors and in the ED
Participate in teaching opportunities with medical students, if desired
Experience the new hospital (opened in December 2021) and new state-of-the-art Behavioral Health unit
Optional: Interest in Medical Directorship (based on experience) or interest/ability to grow into Medical Directorship
A combination of clinical, 90% and administrative, 10%
Residency training in Psychiatry
BE/BC in Psychiatry
Physician licensed in Indiana or eligible for medical licensure in Indiana

At the same time, the facility strengthens healthcare education by providing space for collaboration and coordination of care and teaching. Students and trainees will frequently come to the hospital side of the facility for clinical experiences.
