The UPMC Department of Radiology is currently recruiting for a radiologist to join our Clinical Division, which is comprised of 30+ fellowship trained radiologists dedicated to our clinical mission of providing excellent interpretive and consultative services across the 7 UPMC hospitals in and around Pittsburgh.
Applicants must have an MD degree or equivalent, must be board-eligible or board-certified by the American Board of Radiology, and must be eligible for unrestricted licensure in Pennsylvania. Candidates must also be fellowship-trained. We are looking for someone who is dedicated and looking to make a difference for the patients we serve. Our Clinical Division is built on the principle of providing the best possible care at our growing group of community hospitals while helping to mold the future of healthcare as part of an integrated system at the leading edge of technology and treatment paradigms.
While the division itself is clinically focused, there are opportunities for mentorship and leadership growth for those who are interested. Through our dedication to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, we hope to foster a sense of belonging which is paramount to a rewarding career.
Our flexible structure and strong belief in the importance of work-life balance has led us to incorporate the option for post-call days to ensure a 5-day work week by the start of the next fiscal year. You can expect to work 12 weekends per year (1 weekend per month on average) with a mix of on-site and remote shift responsibilities. The collaborative support of a team of Advanced Practice Providers and Reading Room Assistants is in place to enhance workflow efficiency.
In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, our competitive compensation model includes full eligibility in the incentive plan and parity with the other members of the group from the start.
J-1 waiver candidates are eligible for consideration.
If you are looking to be part of a team focused on improving the future of healthcare while balancing the personal and professional needs of its members, please send your CV and a letter of interest to Kevin Auerbach, MD, Vice Chair, Clinical Division at email@example.com.
