As a Specialty Physician Assistant, you will perform high quality clinical practices and effective patient management, under physician supervision, in accordance with state regulations including primary/secondary specialty care in clinical and/or surgical practice settings. To help achieve our mission, you will demonstrate technical expertise by assisting physicians with diagnostic/therapeutic procedures. Your ability to prescribe medications in accordance with state guidelines and demonstrate teamwork by communicating effectively and working cooperatively with all members of the healthcare team is of vital importance. Displaying respect for and an appreciation for the contributions from all team members in order to foster positive working relationships is essential. Participating in quality and best practice initiatives by utilizing standards and guidelines for cost effective care delivery in order to continuously improve patient care and enhance outcomes is required.
