Pulse Heart Institute, a part of MultiCare Health System, is a physician led institute that provides physicians' governance and decision making across an extensive cardiovascular service line in both the outpatient and inpatient setting spanning multi-hospital systems and clinics across the Pacific Northwest. Join a team of four surgeons and five APP's based in Tacoma, WA at Tacoma General Hospital, a level II Trauma Center with 437 beds and a 13-bed cardiovascular ICU. Job Summary:
Position is full-time / Monday - Friday (no weekends/no call/no holiday coverage)
This team of four surgeons and five advanced practitioners currently serve our patients from all over the region. This position would support the Tacoma campus
Includes practice variety working in the outpatient clinics and inpatient management. Post-op follow ups, aneurysm surveillance appointments and TAVR/Mitraclip consults and work ups
Round on inpatients as neededRequirements:
Experience working as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in a clinical/inpatient setting (any specialty)
Post Bachelor's Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Program
Licensed in the state of WA as an ARNP or PA-C by the time of employment
Board certified by the time of employment
DEA, NPI & prescriptive authority
Current BLS/ACLS for Healthcare Providers certification by the American Heart AssociationPreferred:
2+ years of clinical practice as a Nurse Practitioner for a Cardiothoracic practice
