Our mission is to serve patients from around the Pacific Northwest with complex medical and psychiatric presentations. MYMH is home to the only med/psych unit outside of King County in WA State, making our work unit vital to the entire region. The duties of our PMHNPs include rounding, treatment planning, admission screening, and consultations. Treatment planning rounds daily with nursing, social work, leadership, and community providers
New patient review and admission
Psychiatric consults on the medical floors to include medication recommendations, psychiatric evaluations, and guidance re: navigation of psychiatric services
Occasional attendance at contested hearings held onsite for involuntary patientsRequirements:
