Are you seeking a new and exciting opportunity to practice academic radiology? Due to an increasing growth in volume and scope of practice operations, we are pleased to announce that UPMC and the University of Pittsburgh are recruiting on-site readers for Abdominal Imaging. Academic faculty positions at all ranks will consist of an appointment with the University of Pittsburgh and will include a mix on-site clinical and teaching responsibilities with research opportunities if interested.
The Department of Radiology at UPMC and the University of Pittsburgh is one of the largest academic radiology programs in the country. Our radiologists serve the hospitals and clinics of UPMC, one of the nation’s outstanding health systems, honored repeatedly by U.S. News & World Report. The research program is currently one of the top funded radiology departments, with over $10 million in total funding. Our residency program remains one of the largest programs nationwide, and we take pride in our commitment to foster the next generation of radiologists. All applicants must have completed fellowship training within their specialty, be board-eligible or certified with the American Board of Radiology/American Osteopathic Board of Radiology, and eligible for licensure in Pennsylvania.
