Kraemer Women's Care is seeking a Nurse Practitioner with a minimum of two years' experience in an OB/GYN clinic setting to join our busy practice. The Nurse Practitioner provides Obstetrical and Gynecological care to women across the lifespan. The APRN evaluates, manages and provides care to women seeking ob/gyn care including family planning and prenatal services. Duties include obtaining medical histories, performing physical exams, managing acute and chronic illnesses, prescribes medications including controlled substances, contraceptives and hormone therapy. Experience with in-office gyn procedures including IUD and Nexplanon insertion and removal, I&D of abscess, endometrial biopsy, vulvar biopsy and wound care preferred. Completes required clinical documentation in an accurate, thorough and timely manner. Supports patient autonomy in decision making through education about health condition and treatment. Collaborates with physicians and provides referrals to other healthcare providers as warranted.
Requires SC license as APRN and Board Certification as a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner or Family Nurse Practitioner. Must maintain prescriptive authority and DEA registration.
