Children's Cardiovascular Program is seeking a Pediatric Cardiologist to join our Practice.Mayo Clinic-Children's Minnesota Cardiovascular Collaborative shares resources and clinical talent to provide the highest quality pediatric cardiology and cardiovascular surgery services as well as an integrated approach to pediatric research and education.
Our practice includes 3 cardiac surgeons, 2 interventional catheterization cardiologist, 2 electrophysiologists, 12 pediatric cardiologists, 8 cardiac intensivists, 6 cardiac advanced practitioners and 2 surgical physician assistants.We performed 400+ cardiac surgeries, 400+ cath procedures, 15,000+ echos (1,600+ fetal), 400+MRIs / CT's annually. Our Cardiovascular Care Center on the Minneapolis Campus is comprised of 25 beds, 2 operating rooms (one with hybrid capabilities), biplane cath lab, preoperative area, & state of the art simulation lab. Our Program delivers a full range of services from imaging tests to pioneering surgeries and provides care for neonates, children, teens, and adults born with heart defects.
Practice Highlights:
-The Physician will provide professional cardiovascular and related services to Children's Minnesota patients. This will include clinic as well as inpatient service time.
-Physician shall participate equally in CHC's call pool.
-Opportunity for partner within the Children's Heart Clinic.
-The Cardiovascular Collaborative with Mayo Clinic to include research, education, and faculty appointment.
Qualifications:
-Pediatric cardiology fellow or experienced clinician
-Board Eligible/Board Certified in Pediatrics and Pediatric Cardiology
-Physician MD/DO license in Minnesota or ability to obtain licensure.
