As part of our continued growth, we have new opportunity for Per Diem Nurse Practitioner to join our Per Diem float team. The clinicians we seek are those who practice medicine with a focus on patient care, not volume. We want our clinicians to take the time needed to truly address the patient’s needs.
Position Details:
Region: Long Beach
Per Diem Schedule: Varied shifts as needed
See patients in Primary Care / outpatient setting
Initial consults, routine office visits, well checks and follow-up appointments
Average Patients Per Day: 18-20 patients
Comfortable seeing patients from newborns to geriatric
We offer competitive per diem rate plus medical malpractice coverage and eligibility for 401K program.
Required Qualifications:
Master’s degree from a four-year college and/or a professional certification beyond a four-year college.
Certificate of completion from an accredited Nurse Practitioner Studies program
Current AANP Certification
Unrestricted CA NP license
Current CA DEA certificate required prior to start date
Minimum one-year Primary Care experience
Comfortable seeing patients of all ages
Excellent patient care and time management skills
Ability to work in fast pace environment, team player, adaptable to changing priorities
Travel to different clinics in designated region
EMR Proficient
