The Vice Dean for Strategic Initiatives (Vice Dean) will report directly to the Dean of Wake Forest University School of Medicine (WFUSM) and serve as a critical member of the Dean’s Cabinet. The Vice Dean will partner with the Dean and other senior leaders to lead and participate in the oversight, planning, communication, and implementation of key, cross-cutting strategic initiatives that impact WFUSM’s research, education, and clinical missions. The Vice Dean will build and partner with work groups and task forces across a variety of organizational structures and a growing geography to identify key areas of need, and advance WFUSM and Advocate Health’s progress toward becoming a leading Academic Learning Health System.
