The Department of Anesthesiology at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida is seeking a board eligible/board certified anesthesiologists to join our practice. Candidates with fellowship or specialist training (e.g. Informatics or Research) will be highly valued. This position will include an academic appointment with the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science. Candidates seeking to be involved in resident teaching, clinical research, and possessing an equally strong desire to advance these programs at Mayo Clinic are encouraged to apply. 

We provide adult, comprehensive management of anesthesia for surgical, diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures as well as pre- and post-operative care of these patients. The department is comprised of over 50 board-certified anesthesiologists split into 5 anesthesiology divisions: Cardiothoracic; Multispecialty; Neuroanesthesiology; Solid Organ Transplant; and Acute Pain/Regional Anesthesiology.  We have 6 anesthesiology residents per year, over 90 CRNAs, and a team of anesthesia technologists who are committed to providing the highest level of clinical care. We strongly advocate for the anesthesiology care team model in our practice.

License or Certification: Board-certification or board eligibility required. Applicants with dual training in critical care will be considered for a joint appointment with the Department of Critical Care Medicine on a case-by-case basis.
