Providence Medical Associates is seeking a dedicated Hospitalist to join our team in Torrance, California. Join a dynamic group committed to excellent patient care. Work alongside a robust team of 22 hospitalists, 4 nocturnists, and several per-diem staff members. • 10 rounders Monday-Friday and 9 rounders on weekends.
• Day shifts are 11 hours (7 am-6 pm), with admissions ceasing 1-2 hours before the end of the shift.
• Swing shifts last 4-6 hours, focusing on admissions.
• Weekend staffing is adjusted to provide more weekends off.
• Flexible Scheduling: Approximately 16-18 shifts per month, totaling around 180 hours. This is not a strict 7-on/7-off schedule but a hybrid model, primarily consisting of day shifts, including weekends.
• The ICU is open, with intensivists available. Hospitalists co-manage patients in collaboration with intensivists.
• No mandatory procedures, but opportunities are available with proper proctoring.
• Typically manage 12-18 patients per 11-hour shift.
• Compensation is between $265,069.00 and $382,537.00 per year
• The posted salary reflects the starting range of total compensation and may include productivity bonuses, incentives related to quality and performance, hospital/ED call stipends, extra shift incentives, and other forms of cash compensation as applicable to the position. In addition, providers typically receive a CME allowance and other benefits offered by their medical group employer. Please note that this salary range is provided in accordance with State law and is subject to variation due to the factors noted above

PMA provides the full spectrum of integrated care with a strong base of adult primary care physicians, pediatricians and OBGYNs, a broad range of adult specialties, four urgent care centers, a hospitalist team, post-acute ambulatory and SNF care, and pharmacist and behavioral health support.
