The Joseph M. Sanzari Children’s Hospital at Hackensack University Medical Center is expanding the Pediatric Pulmonology Department. We are seeking a BC/BE Pediatric Pulmonologist physician with BC/BE Pediatric Sleep Medicine to join our busy, dynamic Section of Pediatric Pulmonology.

Opportunity Highlights

• Provide outstanding inpatient and outpatient care
• Work with the four full time Pediatric Pulmonologists
• Dedicated and specialty trained nurses and respiratory therapists
• Pediatric Pulmonary Function and Sleep Laboratories
• Teaching medical students and residents
• Involvement in quality improvement initiatives
• Coordinate/work with interdisciplinary teams
• 24/7 Pediatric Emergency Department and PICU in house attending coverage
• Research opportunities

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey medical license
• Excellent skills, both in patient care and teaching
• Team player, positive attitude, highly motivated
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Interpretation of sleep studies and pulmonary function tests
• Expertise in Pediatric flexible bronchoscopy
• Be eligible for faculty appointment at the Hackensack Meridian Health School of Medicine
