UVA Health Plastic Surgery is seeking a dynamic Physician Assistant to join their busy team in Northern Virginia!

Join UVA Community Health in Manassas, Virginia as a dedicated Plastic Surgery Physician Assistant. You will play a crucial role in our reconstructive and aesthetic surgery service, providing advanced surgical care under the guidance of a licensed surgeon. Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting in diverse surgical procedures, with a focus on breast surgery
• Managing preoperative and postoperative patient care
• Conducting follow-up appointments in the clinic
• Facilitating patient communication within the practice
• Developing long-term relationships with cancer patients

Your daily tasks will involve supporting in the operating room and handling various office appointments. Key duties and responsibilities include:

• Assisting the surgeon during operative procedures
• Conducting patient assessments and preparing them for surgery
• Monitoring patients' recovery in the postoperative phase
• Collaborating with the surgical team and other healthcare professionals

Our multidisciplinary team consists of a Plastic Surgeon, a Colorectal Surgeon, and a Surgical Oncologist. This full-time position offers a Monday-Friday schedule from 8am-5pm with minimal call duties and an average daily census of 10-15 patients.
