MaineHealth Franklin Hospital is seeking a BC/BEEmergency Medicine Physician to join our growing team here in Farmington, Maine.
Enjoy a dynamic practice in an outstanding 10 bed community Emergency Department with over 18,000 visits per year with a well-rounded case mix. The ED is well supported with local hospitalist and other consultative services along with robust ancillary services. The Emergency Physician will work 12 shifts a month, which will include 7a-7p, swing shift 10a-8p, and 7p-7a. We are a site for the MERGE (Maine Rural Graduate Medical Education) program and take 1 resident / month in our department.

This position offers teaching opportunities of medical students and residents. Franklin Memorial Hospital, a member of MaineHealth, is one of the teaching sites for the Maine Medical Center – Tufts University Medical School program.
Broad mix of cases and patients; all acuity levels.

Qualifications:
MD/DO from an accredited medical school.
Completion of Emergency Medicine Residency program.
Board Certified/Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine.
Emergency Medicine experience is preferred; new grads welcome.
