The Department of Surgery at the University of Michigan is nationally recognized for excellence in patient care, education and research. The University of Michigan Department of Surgery has a dedicated and busy colon and rectal surgery practice, encompassing colorectal cancer, inflammatory bowel disease, anorectal surgery and the full range of colon and rectal surgery.
