DescriptionThe Department of Medicine is seeking a highly organized Staff Research Associate to manage the breeding, maintenance, and study of research mice. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate breeding records, strain inventories, and performing tasks such as ear marking, tail sampling for DNA isolation, and PCR-based genotyping. Prior experience in these areas is preferred. The ideal candidate will excel in teamwork, communicate effectively, and provide weekly updates. Additional duties include assisting with protocol updates, animal orders, and overseeing animal transfers to and from UCLA.Hourly Range: $26.52-$31.53
