The Staff Anesthesiologist reports to the Section Chief and provides specialized care in pain management and administers anesthesia to patients during surgical procedures. The incumbents' scope of practice also includes the management of pre-procedural care, intra-procedural care, post-procedural care, evaluation and treatment of the patient to include cardiopulmonary resuscitation and respiratory care problems. To qualify for this position, you must meet the basic requirements as well as any additional requirements (if applicable) listed in the job announcement. Applicants pending the completion of training or license requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
