The Division of General Pediatrics at Hasbro Children’s Hospital and the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University is seeking a full-time faculty member in Pediatric Primary Care. This position offers a unique opportunity to join a dynamic team dedicated to providing high-quality, patient-centered care to children and adolescents while contributing to the academic mission of one of the nation’s leading medical schools.
The successful candidate will provide primary care services in the outpatient setting, engage in teaching medical students and residents, and participate in research or quality improvement initiatives. Faculty appointment at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University will be at a rank commensurate with experience and qualifications.

The Division of General Pediatrics and Public Health. Hasbro Primary Care serves a diverse patient population and close to 90% of our patients receive Medicaid. We are a National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) recognized Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH). Embedded in our clinic are smaller primary care specialty clinics caring for refugee families, children with chronic medical conditions, children in the Foster Care system, mothers who are teenagers and their children, and our HEALTH clinic that cares for children with obesity. In support of the clinic’s mission we have a full-time, embedded social worker, a hospital-supported Connect for Health initiative, interpreters, and a PCMH supported care coordinator. Division faculty staff the sole continuity clinic site for our 48 categorical and 15 Triple Board residents. The clinic serves close to 10,000 patients, mostly from Rhode Island. The clinic is also a primary training site for medical students from the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. The qualified pediatrician will, therefore, be a dedicated and passionate educator with experience in an academic practice.
