The Department of Radiology and Medical Imaging at the University of Virginia (UVA) is seeking a full-time or part-time, CAQ-eligible/certified Pediatric Radiologist to join our dynamic Pediatric Radiology Division. This is an exceptional opportunity to work in a collaborative academic environment at a nationally renowned medical center while shaping the future of pediatric imaging.
Your Role & Impact
As a vital member of our pediatric radiology team, you will contribute to a broad and growing diagnostic and procedural practice. You will also play an important role in training the next generation of radiologists through UVA's ACGME-accredited Pediatric Radiology Fellowship--the only one in the Commonwealth of Virginia--as well as our highly regarded Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology Residency programs.
Clinical services are provided at both our main hospital and the nearby Battle Building, a state-of-the-art outpatient facility designed specifically for children. A dedicated team of pediatric technologists, child life specialists, pediatric anesthesiologists, and sedation teams supports high-quality care delivery. Our team also works in close partnership with UVA's outstanding pediatric medical and surgical subspecialists.

Qualifications

MD or equivalent degree

Eligibility for Virginia medical licensure

Subspecialty (CAQ) certification or eligibility in Pediatric Radiology

Clinical expertise (including fluoroscopy, excluding interventional procedures)

Strong commitment to academic radiology (education, research, and scholarship)
