Advanced Heart Failure and Cardiac Transplant Cardiologist

The University of Virginia's Division of Cardiovascular Medicine, led by Christopher M. Kramer, MD, is nationally recognized for excellence in clinical care, research, and teaching. The department is hiring a faculty member to join the growing Advanced Heart Failure and Cardiac Transplant group to provide care for patients with heart failure as well as pre- and post-transplant and LVAD care.
Position Details:
- Provide clinical service in outpatient clinics and in inpatient units.
- Participate in clinical research programs.
- Participate in the teaching program with cardiology fellows and medical house staff.
Qualifications:
- Candidates must have an MD or equivalent.
- Board certified in Cardiovascular Medicine and board certified or board eligible in Advanced Heart Failure.
- Rank and tenure status will be determined depending upon qualifications.
