Transplant and Cell Therapy Hospitalist
The Division of Hospital Oncology Medicine within the Department of Medical Oncology at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and the Department of Medicine of Brigham and Women’s Hospital is seeking a hematologist/medical oncologist to attend on inpatient stem cell transplant and cellular therapy patient care teams supervising and teaching house staff, fellows, and physician assistants. This role is ideal for candidates who thrive in multidisciplinary and collaborative environments with interests in developing a professional focus within transplantation and cellular therapy in the field of quality improvement, operational efficiency, and education in the context of a major academic medical system. Additionally, there are opportunities to see patients in the ambulatory setting.
The successful applicant will become an active member of the Department of Medical Oncology at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute (DF/BWCC-Department of Medicine) and will be provided with mentorship aligned with their professional interests in transplantation and cellular therapies. Academic rank as Instructor or Assistant Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School will be commensurate with experience, training, and achievements.
Required credentials include an M.D. or D.O., and ABIM certification in Hematology or Medical Oncology following a credentialed Hematology-Oncology fellowship training program. Additional training in transplantation and cellular therapy preferred but not required. Qualified candidates must have legal authorization to work in the United States. J-1 visa sponsorship is not available.
