Join the University of Maryland School of Medicine, Department of Pediatrics, Division of General Pediatrics, as we undergo a major expansion of our current outpatient program! We are seeking an Assistant Professor or Associate Professor level candidate, to join our current 9 physicians in our expanding program.

Qualifications:
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Pediatrics
• General Pediatric Fellowship, Adolescent Medicine or Developmental Pediatrics welcome (but not required)

A major focus of this recruitment effort is on an individual interested in academic general pediatrics or developmental pediatrics. The job description is flexible and can be tailored to the interests of the candidate. Our division provides clinical services across a variety of settings, so there are many options including outpatient general pediatrics, outpatient developmental pediatrics, inpatient newborn nursery coverage, clinical care of detained youth, and others which provide the candidate opportunities for unique career development pathways. Expected rank for this position will be Assistant Professor or higher, however, final rank and tenure status will be commensurate with selected candidate’s experience.

The referenced salary range represents the minimum and maximum salaries for this position and is based on the University of Maryland School of Medicine’s good faith belief at the time of posting. Not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end of the salary range. The actual compensation offered to the selected candidate may vary and will ultimately depend on multiple factors, which may include the successful candidate's geographic location, skills, work experience, internal equity, market conditions, education/training and other factors, as reasonably determined by the University.
