Are you a skilled Advanced Practice Provider looking to make a meaningful impact in Cardiothoracic care? Join the prestigious IU Health Bloomington Hospital Cardiothoracic Program and be part of a team that is dedicated to excellence.
Position Details:
- Full-time, Nights, (every other weekend rotation) 3–12-hour shifts
- Call Schedule- 2 days/week
- 100% Inpatient
- Working with 4 Physicians and 8 APP's
- Ideal candidate will have ICU as NP or CT or normal ICU experience
- Patient Population- Adult open heart and thoracic surgery recovery
Procedures:
- Thoracentesis
- Chest Tube insertions
- Placement of central venous
- Dialysis and Swan-Ganz catheters
- Arterial Lines
- Intra- Aortic balloon pumps
- Robotic lung surgery is new to our program with the future bringing mitral and robotic cardiac cases.
Qualifications:
- Must be Board Certified
- Must hold either ACNP, AGNP, FNP or PA certifications
- 1 Year ICU Experience Required
- Able to obtain IN license
- Experience managing patients with high acuity is preferred
- Team player, Critical Thinker and great Communication skills
