Riley Children's Health is looking for an APP Clinical Supervisor to join our Pediatric Gastroenterology team!
- Full Time, Days
- 40 hrs. per week, schedule can be flexible
- No procedures
- 10-20 patients in the office per/week
Key Responsibilities:
- Under the supervision of the Clinical APP director and department leadership, assists with daily supervision of operational and personnel activities of assigned department APPs
- Oversees adherence to the organization policies and proper communication to and involvement of direct reports
- Supports/assists with bi-directional flow of information between the APP team in respect to operational activities and issue resolution in collaboration with the APP Clinical director, department administrators, and physician leadership
- Promotes a healthy culture of teamwork and collaboration
- Participates in workforce development by participating in recruitment, selection, and hiring of APPs within the service line
- Works to maintain and enhance APP morale and a positive work environment to actively promote the retention of APPs
- Provides mentoring, coaching, and constructive feedback for APP growth and development
- Directly supervises APP colleagues.
- Promotes the appropriateness, quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the clinica care provided by IUHP APP providers in all care environments
- Helps identify inappropriate practice variations and unnecessary use of clinical resources in patient care
- Identifies barriers to efficient patient care and works to overcome those barriers.
- Supports patient experience and access initiatives
- Participates in the development and implementation of service line based clinical protocols, policies, and procedures. Identifies continuing professional education needs for APPs.
Qualifications:
- ACNP, FNP, PNP, or PA certification required
- 3 years of APP experience required
